What are your admission procedures?

Clock-hour courses are open to all licensees. Students register online, and are considered registered for a course on receipt by Carla Cross Seminars, Inc. of registration form and payment. On-site registrations are as space permits in some courses. In some courses, because of space needs, we cannot accept ‘walk-ons’. Each course registration form explains the policies for each course offering.

What are your policies on cancellation?

Refunds are made only if student has called to cancel on-site attendance at least 72 hours prior to the beginning of the course. For distance learning courses: No cancellations by student after Carla Cross Seminars, Inc. receives payment for the course.

What are your policies on completing a distance learning course?

To receive credit, the course must be completed and received by Carla Cross Seminars, Inc. within 6 months of registration.

Can I extend the time frame?

Notify us (Carla Cross Seminars) by calling 425.392.6914 or emailing us at info@carlacross.com within 6 months of registration and receive a 3 month extension for $100. If you contact us after your 6 months is over, you will be required to pay the entire course fee again.

What are your attendance requirements?

In accordance with Washington Administrative Code, attendance is mandatory for successful completion of clock-hour courses. See distance learning guidelines in each of our distance learning courses for specifics on course check-in, monitoring, and substantiation of course hours completed.

How are your courses tested and graded?

In accordance with the rules of the Department of Licensing, testing must be completed in courses that require testing, with a minimum grade of 70%.

How do you supply course completion certificates?

Students will be mailed via U. S. Mail a completion certificate within 15 days of receipt of all materials and fees due. We will also email you a certificate. Save this on your computer, to avoid having to pay a replacement fee!
If a student does not pass the examination, he may request a re-examination through the administrator.

How do I get a replacement certificates?

Request for replacement certificates must be made in writing and accompanied with a check for $50.
